FIU Cash
How it works:
FIU Cash is a safe and convenient prepaid debit plan that can be used to make purchases on campus. The blue magnetic strip on the back of the FIU One Card uses your Panther ID number to link to your FIU Cash Account. To open an FIU Cash Account, simply deposit money on your FIU One Card! Like a debit account, each time you make a purchase, the sale amount will be deducted from your total balance. You’ll be able to see your remaining balance at the register as well as on your receipt. The FIU Cash Account can be used at on-campus restaurants, computer labs, 8th Street Campus Kitchen, libraries, retail & service locations, and Barnes & Noble at FIU.
How to load funds:
Visit an Office
Deposit cash or checks* at MMC or BBC. Please note, cashiers cannot accept credit cards. *Check deposits of more than $100 will be credited within 2 business weeks.
Valueport
Use a Valueport to deposit cash into your FIU Cash Account at any of our 11 value ports located throughout our campuses for your convenience.

Checks via Mail
Submit checks and money orders (payable to “FIU”) to: Florida International University 11200 SW 8th Street, PG1 – 100 Miami, FL 33199. Funds must be in U.S. dollars, and drawn from a U.S. bank; checks must include the University members Panther ID number to ensure credit to the correct account. Post-dated checks are not accepted.
Website or App
Visit Get @ FIU* to load or replenish funds online using the website or mobile app. With GET you can: deposit instantly with a credit card, set up auto replenish, check your balance, and track spending. *$2.50 service fee will apply.
